Okay peeps. Here is the deal. We are going to have our first video blog on February 1st and we are struggling to come up with a segment name for it. We are going to talk about: happenings of Loserville, sports and entertainment, current events and THE WORLD! Below you will find a chat the the two of us had regarding the name, to shed a little more light on the subject. We are wanting it to be a vlog that is no longer than 5 minutes and one or both of us will be making an appearance every episode. HELP US OUT! Give us your ideas and suggestions and then we will put a pole up and we can vote on the winning name. Just leave your suggestions in the comment area, you do not have to register to comment! Funny convo. I think you guys should report the news like that ~ lol. I agree with Shelly; I do like "White Noise," but it's a movie. Marc's comment is good too because usually nothing on the news is happy. Hopefully you guys will change that :) You could do "Two Guys and a Vlog" or "Two Guys with Nothing Better to do than Talk About Crazy Shit That's Happening Around the World," but that's kind of long. Perhaps, "We Got 5 On It" and you can bet on the news that is happening or will happen. Or, maybe, "It's the End of the World As We Know It"? They (Nostradamus, the Mayans, etc.) say that it will happen in 2012. That's all I got right now, good luck. I'm outtie 5...

So I see that the poll has closed and I missed my big chance at democracy here, but I'm still going to throw in my three blog name suggestions.
ReplyDelete#1: Under Construction
First off, I still laugh thinking about the story once told about the harsh consequences of telling joke failures in Loserville. The idea of requiring people to wear a yellow hat when a joke is, 'under construction' is hilarious to me and definitely applies to the humor of this vlog (which is still not a vlog, because there are no videos on this damn site - hence, it is, indeed 'under construction').
#2: And then I saw a baby cow being born
This phrase has become a regular part of my vocab because, well, it's awesome.
Every couple of months, as I do the drive to my homeland of Chicago, I see that familiar billboard on I65 North. Some old grandpa dude and his visibly excited daughter sharing a hug-it-out moment ... about a baby cow. It's filthy and random and unnecessary, all wrapped into a delicious burrito that I want to eat.
Okay, this fits for two reasons. First off, it's the halfway point between Chicago and Indy. Two, it's fucking brilliant and only a Chicago/Indy native would truly appreciate it. So, this one would get my vote. If you have not seen this billboard yet, please waterboard your face.
#3 And then I found $5 on the street
I've been told that any time a joke, story or conversation is in danger of failure, you end it with this phrase, and bing! Instant fix. Everyone loves finding $5 on the street!
So, please consider reopening the polls.
